Freehold bungalows and units with lofts!

A variety of styles and unit sizes can be found here. Typical sizes vary, 1,044; 1,055; 1,185, 1,203, 1,242, 1,367 and 1,509 square feet. Buyers need to know that sizes and layout designs can vary widely.

Brick, stone and vinyl exteriors, covered front entrances, 9 ft ceilings, some units have upper front gables, and many units have partially elevated rear decks.

The units on the outer west side and outer north side have lower walkouts and the units on the east side, units 1 – 12, look like bungalows but actually have upper lofts. Many of the end units have double car garages (actually twelve units in this complex) and these end units have attractive side/front entrances.

Quiet neighbours to the immediate north and immediate west. The lands to the north face onto Cedar Street which has the municipal number of 71. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Hamilton bought these lands back in 1861 for $200.00 and continues to own them as it is now a cemetery. Then a large block of land to the east of this complex on Cobblestone Drive is owned by the township and is used as a “water reclamation area”.

This is a striking complex that has aged well. It is often marketed as being “convenient to the 403”. Given the diversity of unit sizes and model styles one has to do some astute comparison shopping before finding the most suitable unit. The selection at times can be quite limited.
