“McCarthy Place Retirement Residence
What is a retirement residence doing on a website devoted solely to condos? Well, this complex was originally called the “Royal Palasade” and for several years after it was first built, individual units up to 1,200 square feet were offered for sale on a life lease arrangement using the services of the “MLS” system.
This is a four storey brick, stone and metal sided structure. The rear entranceway leading into this building has outdoor gardens and pleasant common areas to enjoy when the weather is nice.
Now some details about the name change. As reported in the March 5, 2015, edition of the “Stratford Beacon Herald”, this building was purchased in 2015 by “all Seniors Care Living” which also owns “Cedarcroft Place” in the city.
“All Seniors Care Living” is a national network of residences. At the time, this article was written, this company ws reported to own about 31 established units.
If you are a senior looking for a retirement living arrangement, this building might be something to consider.
