Let’s start with a detailing which is not apparent from the street. These condos are of a 1+1 bedroom design with a main floor master bedroom and a main floor laundry. On the second level is an additional bedroom plus an upper open sitting area with open views of the living room below. Unit sizes are 1,500 square feet.
These are bright units with skylights and the unusual feature of having windows on three sides of each unit. Single car garages and covered front porches built large enough to be useable. All brick exteriors which is a hard to find feature and some vinyl on some of the top upper gables.
These units boast of having forty six foot frontages (they are built semi-style). Few other condo projects in the city in this price range can boast of having this feature. This neighbourhood, despite being on a main street, enjoys a wonderful sense of privacy.
The sidewalk across the street is nicely set back from the street and extends all of the way over to Romeo Street. Many people walk it with their pets.
As for condo fees, in the 2018/2019 time period, they were in the $335 per month price range.
One final note, don’t get caught up speeding on Mornington Street. It is a nice street for cruising with very few stop signs and lots of greenery to enjoy. The posted speed limit is 40 km per hour.
In Stratford, the police may be driving pick-up trucks or be out riding bicycles. It is all too easy to be nabbed driving just a little bit too quickly. Don’t let your trip to Stratford be an expensive experience.
